PROJECT

General Motors Cadillac

General Motors Cadillac relocated their workplace headquarters to New York City to signal a new direction for this venerable American manufacturer of luxury automobiles. The Furniture Management team at JAS was challenged with meeting the highest level of quality in furnishings, materials and fit-out to complement the high level of detail in their cars.

JAS played an integral role with the architect, contractor and furniture dealer, to meet General Motors Cadillac’s expectations in offices encompassing 30,000 square feet on two floors. The program called for custom open area benching solutions with built-in lighting and custom power and date troughs for their 100 employees. Custom pieces for conference rooms and lounge areas were also required.

A key element in the space is a display screen system located at primary circulation paths. JAS Furniture Managers took the architect’s conceptual design and working with custom fabricators, brought this to reality. The JAS team managed budgets and schedules and provided full time supervision during the delivery and installation phase.
